Videos created for COM 117: Multimedia Storytelling, an introductory film course at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Communications
COMIC RELIEF
For almost two months, my group and I dedicated ourselves to making our fictional story turn into reality. In this project, I served as the cinematographer, assistant director, sound designer, and editor.
This film received the highest grade in our class, earning full points in creativity, continuity and originality. It is currently being used as an example to introduce the assignment to this year's new COM 117 students.
ONE SHOT
The final assignment for this class was to create a minute-long video PSA on an issue that we felt was important. My group and I decided to tackle alcohol abuse and created a mock PSA for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
I served as the editor and videographer, earning points for continuity and unique angles featured in the film.
